19May09 Tuesday (1st night) - The Church Federation of Greater Indianapolis - is happy to continue its efforts in training volunteer mentors to support those families in our community who have been stricken by homicide. For the past 10 years, the Ecumenical Project for Reconciliation and Healing has offered a 21-hour course that has successfully prepared over 150 mentors for this important work. We are looking to begin our next training class on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. The classes will run from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm each Tuesday night through June 30, 2009. | We are inviting you and/or those involved in your outreach ministry to apply to the volunteer mentor training class (free of charge). RECEPTION DIAGNOSTIC CENTER (RDC) -
We are in immediate need of clothing for adult males for releases.  Pants, shirts, undergarments, shoes and coats (of all sizes for men) is needed.  We are also in need of gently used books for our offenders (paperback and hardback, both fiction and nonfiction).
